Arm wax (half)(s) will be done by our therapists today
"No more shying away in long sleeved tops, I can now show my arms off! (I can't stop stroking them) "

Whats included in a Half Arm Wax?
The little sister to the Full Arm Wax! You can choose to have your lower arms waxed which removes everything from the elbow down including the hands and fingers. Or you can have you upper arms waxed which removes everything from your shoulder down to include your elbows.

Perfect for removing dead skin and improving the appearance of the skin. Say no to long sleeves and welcome in the summer!

What Wax is used?
For body waxing we use our signature Gold Wax. It's awesome at getting that perfect result! We don't need to turn the heat up either as it melts very easily. It's smooth, glittery and picks up even the little hairs!

Transgender-
If you would like to book in for the womens treatments, that's not a problem we won't charge you anymore. If you could just give us a call on 02081234332 to let us know so we can ensure we have the correct time slot for your treatment.

Things to consider BEFORE a Half Arm Wax

1) We cannot wax anyone who has been on a sunbed within 24 hours or if you are sunburnt.

2) Exfoliate the area before your appointment. It will help to lift out ingrown hairs and get you a smoother result.

3) Don't remove any hair from the area for at least 2 weeks before your first wax for best results. The hair needs to be the right length for the wax to 'grab' onto. If you can pinch the hair it is long enough.

Things to consider AFTER a Half Arm Wax

1) You must not use a sunbed or sun bathe for 48 hours after a wax.

2) Redness in the area is normal and will subside within a few days.

3) Wait for any redness to fade then exfoliate everyday in the shower to avoid in growing hairs.

4) Hair grows on a 28 day cycle so we recommend getting waxed every 4 weeks. The more you wax the longer it takes to grow back again :)

5) Never shave between waxing! It makes your hair grow back thicker, makes your wax more painful, your hairs more stubborn and un-does the benefit of your wax.

I have a couple of raised moles on my arms - is it safe to get these waxed too?

Hi Sophie. Its a little difficult to judge without seeing them first. It might be worth while popping in to show your arms to the managers in one of our branches. If the moles cannot be waxed, it should cause too much problem as we can wax around them.

Been to a few salons and they always end up bruising near my elbow crease. Claire at the Brazilian waxing company said it was down to poor technique and the wrong wax. She was right! Really happy with my half arm wax. xx

I want my forearms doing but not the top of my arms where I have fine hair. Will I be left with what looks like hairy short sleeves u think?

Definately not! unless that's the look you're really after:) We are master waxers and can blend areas of hair into areas of hair free skin for a natural look.
