Back wax(s) will be done by our therapists today
Confused about upper back, lower back, shoulder blades, at other salons? A back is a back at BWC. Complete back, hair free, in under 20 mins and only £8!

Whats covered?
Whether it's your entire back or just the lower area, we can remove the hairs that are bothering you.

Women mostly book in for this when they have hairs between their shoulder blades and on their lower back. It's normal to have long, fine hairs in this area but we also know it can make you very self conscious.

You can be picky about which areas you want waxed or we can just do the whole area from the nape of the neck down to your belt line.

What wax is used?
Our Gold wax is gentle enough on the skin that once the initial redness has gone down, there will be no sign of any reaction.

Transgender-
If you would like to book in for the womens treatments, that's not a problem we won't charge you anymore. If you could just give us a call on 02081234332 to let us know so we can ensure we have the correct time slot for your treatment.

Things to consider BEFORE a Back Wax

1) We cannot wax anyone who has been on a sunbed within 24 hours or if you are sunburnt.

2) Exfoliate the area before your appointment. It will help to lift out ingrown hairs and get you a smoother result.

3) Don't remove any hair from the area for at least 2 weeks before your first wax for best results. The hair needs to be the right length for the wax to 'grab' onto. If you can pinch the hair it is long enough.

Things to consider AFTER a Back Wax

1) You must not use a sunbed or sun bathe for 48 hours after a wax.

2) Redness in the area is normal and will subside within a few days.

3) Wait for any redness to fade then exfoliate everyday in the shower to avoid in growing hairs.

4) Hair grows on a 28 day cycle so we recommend getting waxed every 4 weeks. The more you wax the longer it takes to grow back again :)

5) Never shave between waxing! It makes your hair grow back thicker, makes your wax more painful, your hairs more stubborn and un-does the benefit of your wax.

Hi, I have acne on my back so I was wondering if I'd still be able to get my back waxed despite this, or would it inflame my acne?

Hello, I would recommend patch testing a small area on your back first to be able to gage what kind of reaction you would have. Everybody is different so it is difficult to say whether or not it'd inflame it or not. It is also worth bearing in mind that if you are currently taking any medication for the acne, we may not be able to wax you as a lot of acne meds are a contra indication to waxing. I hope this helps
