Things to consider BEFORE a Full Body & Hollywood Wax

1) Unfortunately we cannot wax near the abdomen area i.e abdomen, Bikini, Brazilian or Hollywood area, if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy as this is the most critical time for your baby as your little embryo tries to establish. You are absolutely safe to wax these areas from your second trimester right up until your due date.

2) We cannot wax anyone who has been on a sunbed within 24 hours or if you are sunburnt.

3) Exfoliate the area before your appointment. It will help to lift out ingrown hairs and get you a smoother result.

4) Don't remove any hair from the area for at least 2 weeks before your first wax for best results. The hair needs to be the right length for the wax to 'grab' onto. If you can pinch the hair it is long enough.

Things to consider AFTER a Full Body & Hollywood Wax

1) You must not use a sunbed or sun bathe for 48 hours after a wax.

2) Redness in the area is normal and will subside within a few days.

3) Wait for any redness to fade then exfoliate everyday in the shower to avoid in growing hairs.

4) Hair grows on a 28 day cycle so we recommend getting waxed every 4 weeks. The more you wax the longer it takes to grow back again :)

5) Never shave between waxing! It makes your hair grow back thicker, makes your wax more painful, your hairs more stubborn and un-does the benefit of your wax.

Hi Lauren A lot of our clients suffer from psoriasis and often report that waxing helps the recovery of this. We can wax over the areas so long as they're not currently inflamed or the skin is broken. I hope this helps.

Requests for therapists can be made but can't always be guaranteed, depending on the circumstances of the day, such as sickness or emergencies. All therapists are trained in our academy and follow the same routines when carrying out treatments.

Hello I'm going on holiday in the beginning of June and was wondering how long should I wait to grow my hair before I get this wax? And how many days before my holiday should I have it done?

We recommend that you grow your hair for 4 weeks prior to having the full body and hollywood wax. This is a good period of time for the hair to grow to a good length for waxing. Regarding your holiday, you should have your waxing around 2-3 days before you travel, this will give the skin time to settle down and not cause any further irritation
