GENTLEMAX PRO AND WAXING

If you opt for Laser Hair Removal you will need to shave the area to get a better result from the laser.

Unfortunately this means you can’t wax the area whilst you are having Laser Hair removal.

Don’t despair though, the GentleMax Pro actually vaporises the hair on contact and you will see that the rest will fall out over the next few days after your treatment.

The best part about the GentleMax Pro is that if you suffer from in-grown hairs this is the ultimate cure! It penetrates beneath the skin to current in-growns and breaks down those hairs. You won’t get any new in-grown hairs as the laser begins to target and shrink the follicles too.

At Brazilian Waxing Company we love waxing! You get immediate results and it’s so affordable too. However, if you want to see an end to hair growth all together than the GentleMax Pro is the way forward.

Hi Carissa We need to be able to see the hair type during the consultation in order to determine the best fluency to use. So we usually advise to stop shaving 2 weeks before the appointment.

Hello After how many sessions will the armpit hair be removed fully and not grow again? Mine is not thick at all, probably thin and the area is not that big. Thanks

Hi It would be difficult to say how many sessions of laser you would need without seeing the area first. However please also bear in mind that the effects of the laser are NOT permanent and you will always experience some regrowth. I would advise you came in for a consultation and patch test.

After 8 sessions of laser everybody's result is individual. We advise you to come back for maintaince sessions once the course is completed. The time when this is recommended will depend on your final result which would be discussed. You are welcome to come for a free consultation for more information.

The laser treatment works by targeting the colour in the hair, unfortunately grey hair doesn't contain any colour, therefore the laser would not have any colour to pick up on. We would not recommend laser treatment for anybody who has grey hair as it wouldn't be effective. If the whole of the hair isn't entirely grey then i would recommend for you to book in for a consultation

Does this mean a lady would have to shave the upper lip area if having this area treated? Wouldn't that cause a stubbly 'tache until all treatments were complete?

Laser works really well on darker hair as dark hair absorbs the energy and light hair repels it. Shaving will get the best results possible, each session will minimise the hair and will beat the effect of shaving overall. We know it's scary but it's like taking 1 step back and 2 steps forward :)

Unfortunately not. It's probably safe but as there are no studies to support it no where will be insured to perform a laser treatment on any one who is pregnant x
