Hello, I'm looking to book a laser treatment. I've had laser before so this will be a top up. I understand that I will need a consultation. After paying for the consultion and deciding to go ahead, will the consultion price be detucted from the treatment price? Thanks, Nisha.

Hi, I'm considering having my upper lip lasered. I have recently been away so have a tan, would the laser lighten my skin tone in that area? Also how many sessions does it usually take for the upper lip? Thank you
Laura | Manchester

BWC reply to queries
Hi Laura We cannot laser over an area which has an active tan. We usually ask that you leave a 6 week gap between sun exposure and the laser treatment. How many sessions you will need depends on your hair and skin type. I would highly recommend a consultation to discuss this further.

Stephy | Manchester
2/24/2016 12:30:38 AM
BWC reply to queries
Hi Stephy. You will have to make an appointment for the consultation. It is charged at same price as a treatment. For example, if one session of leg laser costs £75, then the consultation will be £75 as well. If after the consultation you decided to go ahead with the treatment, the consultation fee will be used towards your next treatment, therefore making the consultation free. If you decided not to go ahead after the consultation, your fee will be refunded. Hope that helps.

Hi. Would you suggest a package for lasering the whole body except for the limbs(arms and legs)? Thanks!
Joey | Manchester
2/4/2016 5:20:02 AM
BWC reply to queries
Hi Joey. Unfortunately we don't have a package for the whole body minus the limbs. You could pick individual body parts (chest, back, neck, underarms, bsc) but that comes up to almost £195. Its a lot better to pay for the full body and just miss the arms/legs out.
Sarah | Brazilian Waxing Company Staff
BWC reply to queries
Hi. Regarding the full arm and full leg packages, is it for both limbs or just one full arm and one full leg? Thanks ;D
Isabella | Manchester

Hi Isabella. Its for both limbs. But you can choose to have just one done, if your feeling daring!

Janice | Manchester

Hi Janice. Its probably best to go for the Full Body package as individual body parts will total up to £195, even if you excluded the arms and legs. Go for the £150 full body and miss out the arms/legs. Hope that helps.

Hi Sara Prior to the consultation, we ask that you do not shave so that our technician can see your hair type. However in preparation for your sessions, it is imperative that you shave the area the night before the treatment. You can shave on the day but we not advise this as it can make the skin a lot more sensitive. Hope this helps x

Hi. I'd really like to have a full body laser package but I'm too shy to expose my private areas. But if I take the full arm and full leg package it would be cost-ineffective when I eventually make up my mind to do the private areas laser as well. What would you suggest?
Janet | Manchester
1/26/2016 3:09:42 AM

Hi Janet We've found the full body package is the most cost effective option for many people. I'm sure once you've been in for a consultation and met the laser technician, you'll feel confident enough with us that you'll choose to have the intimate areas lasered as well. The results are too good not to! Hope to see you soon

Hi Almas I would recommend you book for a full face and full body laser treatment as it would work out cheaper for you. If you booked these treatments separately, it would cost £240 in total. However for the full body and full face, it works out at £195. I hope you find this information helpful x

Hi Jess We tend to advise you wait until you can see/feel the hairs starting to come through again. However your laser therapist will be able to advise you on what to look for. Hope this helps

BWC reply to queries
Hi, I completely agree with the comment below. I have had the same problem too and it has made me feel quite dissatisfied with the treatment. Paying so much money with the treatment being rushed is not what I was expecting. I felt certain areas are missed out on my legs, arms and Hollywood area due to how fast the session had taken. This has happened after I had a change in consultant. £1000 for the treatment will not feel worth it knowing certain patches are missed. Before the full boday laser had taken 60 to 90 minutes maximum, last 2 sessions were done within 45 minutes. Please could you let me know, what can be done about this.Thanks.

Hi We always allocate the maximum window of time for each appointment to allow for different body types without the risk of running over into another clients appointment. We also have to allow time for the risk of our cryogen canister running out and allowing time for the machine to re-load. The speed of the treatment should not affect the results as all of our technicians are regularly assessed to ensure they are still carrying out the treatments according to the manufacturers guidelines. Our laser manager will contact you to discuss any specific concerns. I hope this helps.

I started doing full body laser at the Oxford rd site and I am not very happy. Although the beautician is lovely, she went very fast on my legs and arms. I am also doing Hollywood laser hair removal and that was particularly fast. Don't think I will have good results. I felt there were parts of my body not even treated but I already paid 1000£ so I guess it is now too late.

Sue | Halifax

Unfortunately not. The hair does need to have some colour pigment in there for it to be effective. If it's the odd white hair then laser should be considered. But if the majority of hair is white then we would recommend waxing instead.
